About

Advancing the profession since 1960

The Association of Nutrition & Foodservice Professionals is a national not-for-profit dedicated to the people who manage dining in healthcare, senior living, schools, and corrections.

Mission

Safe, nourishing food is a matter of professional practice

We set the standard for foodservice management through credentialing, continuing education, and advocacy. Our members oversee millions of meals every day — meals that must be safe, appetizing, and clinically appropriate for the people who eat them.

ANFP is governed by an elected board of practicing professionals and supported by the Nutrition & Foodservice Education Foundation, which funds scholarships and research.
